This policy explains how BabelStone handles information you provide through this website. It covers the marketing site only.

What we collect

When you submit the “Request a demo” form we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, and any organization, role, event details, languages and message you choose to include. To help prevent spam we also record the time of submission and the IP address and browser user-agent the request came from.

Why we use it

We use these details solely to respond to your demo request and to protect the form from abuse. We do not sell this information.

The captcha

The form is protected by a self-hosted proof-of-work captcha (ALTCHA). It runs on our own servers and does not send your data to a third-party captcha provider.

Retention

We keep demo requests for as long as needed to follow up and to keep a record of enquiries, then remove them when they are no longer required.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, contact us using the demo form and describe your request.
